Wearable Futures: Inclusive Design 2012

Wearable Futures: Inclusive Design conference 2012, held recently at the Welcome Collection, London. A great day full of inspirational speakers. Keynote speaker Caryn Franklin, fashion commentator, presented key concepts from the project 'AllWalks' highlighting the significance of inclusivity, individuality and diversity particularly within the fashion industry to represent a real and diverse population. The second keynote presentation, delivered by Ken Blakeslee from Web Mobility Ventures, titled 'The Good, The Bad & The Ugly' over-viewed  a visual history of some of the great (and also the not so great) wearable technologies and also questioned the challenges, future directions and  technology as an enabler for mobility.
